Save everything you might need it someday...

A little bit about Beads of Paradise.

I got the "it will be useful one day" line from my mum who was an ardent fan of finding uses for any and everything whilst we were growing up. Now of course, my bulging cupboards are testimony to this!!

As a child I used to set up mini craft stalls in my bedroom selling things made out of papier mâché and egg boxes. Wonky and handmade, it really did not matter. In fact, I tried papier mâché again recently for this "big love" project for a photo shoot, I was quite pleased with the results!!

Today that spirit of creativity prevails. I am a magpie. I collect brightly coloured beads and buttons and pretty things and this is the inspiration for Beads of Paradise.

Do we have to bow to commercialism and buy mass produced goods? Beads of Paradise says no;we say surround yourself with beautiful unique things with heart, soul and history.
